When I was a little girl

SO, I don't know if you guys remember (especially you asian girls), but when I was little my mum bought me these sandals that were made of some sort of rubber, which were I think called Jelly Sandals and OMG, I use to think they were the ugliest shoes ever! Anyways, recently I've been noticing that these sandals are making a comeback . . . like seriously they are! I first spotted them on instagram and thought "I've got to have these"

I asked the girl who had posted the picture of the sandals and she said they sold them at Windsor Smith for $20!!! What a freaking bargain aye!? So I knew I had to go and buy them. The first time I checked out Windsor Smith I had gone with my boyfriend, and he did not want me to get them and said they looked ridiculous and only "Asians" buy them! LOL (not being racist whatsoever - but I remember asian kids was the minority). I didn't end up buying them that time round but then my mates contacted me and asked if I wanted to do a bit of shopping the next coming week and obviously I said YES!

I told one of the two girls I went with about the sandals and she also wanted to buy them too. So we head straight to Windsor Smith, spent a really long time in their trying every single colour they had and contemplating which ones we should buy. The colours they had included, black, white, navy, red, clear glitter and clear brown glitter. If you want to check out the colours online click here

I ended up picking ONE in black and in a size 35. It fits perfectly well and honestly they are the MOST comfortable shoes I own (NO JOKE). These sandals are by the brand Lipstick and are called the "Fishermann". Now I know these won't be everyones cup of tea but I seriously think they would look cute with any sort of outfit! What do you think? Leave your comments below and let me know if you guys purchased these too!! AGAIN these were $20!!!!

I just recently activated my Paypal account and I've been purchasing and browsing online for a few items and the recent items I have just ordered are from Real Techniques. Now, for those of you who follow beauty guru's on youtube then I'm sure you have all heard of the make up brush line called Real Techniques created by Samantha Chapman of Pixiwoo. All three of them are amazing at what they do.

Here are a few pictures of the brushes I decided to order from iherb.com:

Long weekend spending!

The long weekend is an AWESOME excuse to spend a bit of money, and that is exactly what my boyfriend and I did today!
Around 1pm my boyfriend and I headed out to Kelly Country in Granville to look for a suit and a white business shirt for his new position that he was recently promoted to (such a proud proud girlfriend). It was a successful visit to Kelly Country, and mind you I wasn't expecting much from this store but they had a few nice suits so definitely check them out. I didn't get to take photos of the boyfriend since he's a bit camera shy . . such a shame because he looked very sleek!

Anyways, after we finished off at Kelly Country, we stopped over at Hungry Jacks since he hadn't eaten and then straight after he happily agreed to take me to the city to do a bit of shopping! Isn't he just the best?! hahah So we headed straight to Sydney CBD to do a bit of damage to our bank accounts. We decided to park at Westfield Sydney, but little did we know that it was Complimentary Valet parking!!!! We ended up paying $25 . . .which I guess isn't too bad, since parking in the city burns a hole in your pocket.

It was weird, I was excited to shop but I didn't know where to start (I guess I should've had a plan first!) There was this particular metallic tank top I wanted to buy from Bardot but they didn't have my size (which sucked). So the first store I decided to check out was Steve Madden. One of my mates and I recently visited Steve Madden and eyeballed these awesome flats for sale, my mate decided to pick up one for herself in the cream but I decided not to. So when I visited the store today I gave in to the temptation and purchased these:
I love the tote that Steve Madden stores provide you with!
Betsey Johnson for Steven Madden
Love the tissue paper design!
They take such care in protecting your item that they individually wrap your shoes in plastic
Purchased these in the black and the size 6
I love the subtle "LOVE HEART" design on the flats
It has leopard print on the bottom of the shoe!!!

I think these were originally $119.95, then they went down to $59.95 and then they had a further 20% off so I purchased these for $47.95
The next store we stopped over was Sportsgirl. I honestly felt sorry for my boyfriend but he didn't mind at all. I kept asking if he was bored but he was okay! AND not to mention he was pretty good with giving me advice on what looked good and what didn't. So, this is what I picked up at Sportsgirl:
The Vee Sweater
A close-up of the stripes
This was originally $59.95, however because it was on sale by 50% off I picked this baby up for $29.95
We then decide to visit Myer and I ended up purchasing two items on the very top level. Both items are outerwear, one from a brand called milkandhoney and the other called Lipsy. Here are what they look like:

milkandhoney:
The Fleck Waterfall Cardigan
My first ever milkandhoney item
Got it in a size 10 because the size 8 were all sold it, but I don't mind, I can definitely work with it
Lipsy:
The Biker Jacket
I love this little charm they added to the inside of the jacket! So cute...
Hope you guys liked this little haul of mine! . . . Any questions, feel free to comment below . . .

This or That?

So recently I've been doing a lot of online browsing and I've been on a crazy hunt for the perfect ankle bootie with a heel! I came across Sammi of Beautycrush's video on youtube and she had mentioned a website called Missguided ... And whilst browsing I came across these two black ankle booties that I thought would be awesome for winter!

Here's choice # 1:
Photo taken from here
This ankle bootie is called the "Rasna Leather Heeled Platform Boot" in black = AUS$62.72

Here's choice # 2:

Photo taken from here

This ankle bootie is called the "Celestina Platform Ankle Boot" in black = $62.72 (it also comes in a brown/tan colour)

So which should I purchase? They're both quite similar but different in their own way! I'm sort of leaning towards the second choice. It looks more like me, rather than the first choice. They both cost the same and Missguided also offer free shipping to Australia and New Zealand!! THAT'S AWESOME!!!!

Have you shopped on Missguided before? What are some of your favourite picks from the website?

Weekend Getaways

Back in April, my boyfriend and I planned a getaway to Port Macquarie for his 22nd Birthday with a few of our mates and his cousins and their partners. It was such an awesome little holiday away and I wish we were back there. The weather was amazing, it was so relaxing, no problems and responsibilities to worry about. It was just so care-free.

Now, you're probably wondering what is this girl talking about, I want to talk about the fact that mini holidays bring people together! Now I've been with my boyfriend for 4.5years, he has two cousins that are close in age with him Anna and Andy (brother and sister) and they have partners too. Now in the last 4.5 years, I have never been able to form a connection with his cousins or their partners. If you know me in real life, I'm the type of person that's really shy when I meet people for the first time or if I don't see them as often. But when I get to know people better and have a feel of what they're like, then I'll go crazy! This is what happened when we went away to Port Macquarie... it was awesome! It gave us the opportunity to be ourselves and relax and open up and become a lot closer.

I especially became a lot closer to his cousin Anna and his cousins girlfriend Monica. It's like we became family instantly! Our quote for the rest of the weekend was "We family" . . lol and we went cray cray the second night of the get away and when I say cray cray, I mean alcohol influenced! hahahaha I mean it's cool to get loose every now and then, and that weekend was a good excuse to get loose and be rowdy! . . Here are some pictures of the three of us that weekend:

I love these two!
Yep, and the drunk photos begin!
Yep, not sure what happened here! lol

The END! lol Hope you guys enjoyed browsing through the pictures and didn't mind being overloaded with our faces! hahahahahahaha
